1099-DIV Tax Information
The Internal Revenue Service’s initial deadline for mailing 1099-DIV information to mutual fund investors for any given calendar year is January 31st of the following calendar year unless an extension is requested. Please note that the underlying companies in REMS’ mutual funds request extensions of this filing deadline to February 29th of the following calendar year due to the lack of finalized tax information for the appropriate breakout of ordinary income, capital gains and return of capital. For example, if the 1099-DIV is for calendar year 2019, the extension allows for a deadline of February 29, 2020.
As an investor in REMS’ mutual funds it is highly probable that your financial institution may send estimated 1099--DIV amounts related to our funds prior to the February 29th extended deadline. We anticipate providing final information to data service providers which your institution will access for a final 1099 no later than February 15, 2020. If your financial institution sweeps for this data prior to this time, you will likely receive an initial 1099 with estimated data related to our funds.
Financial institutions have varying timeframes for accessing our data and you should coordinate with your respective institution to determine whether the data provided is final.

|Post February 29, 2020||1099-DIV Revised (Final Data)*|
*Note: Investors should check with their financial institution and/or financial advisor to insure that the 1099 data reflects final information and will not be revised at a later point to reflect the February 15th data load.
